Things To Do Instead of Self-Injury

27 things I would do if sad than self-injury

2. chocolate!!!
3. Playing a musical instrument
4. Letting my self cry  (can be very difficult for some)
5. Hugs-(this one is very nice...)
6. Talk to my self 
7. Listening to music (try to use calm music)
8. Scribbling on sheets an sheets of paper 
9. Writing (poetry, stories, journal, etc)
10. Cuddling with a stuffed toy
11. Watching a favorite TV show (preferably a comedy)
12. Painting my nails

Going to see a movie

14. Eating something ridiculously sweet (or any favorite food)
15. Surf the net
16. Call a friend and ask for company 
17. Sleep (only if you are tired)
18. Re-organizing your room 
19. Cleaning
20. Dressing up very glamorous (make sure no one can walk in on me, though)
