all the tasks finished on time

welcome to november!  resolution of this month, all the tasks finished on time. and I find out how. I didn’t write this. just found and thought it was worth holding on to. Seems a fitting time to re-post it.

1. Figure out how much time it takes you to do all of your homework on a regular basis. The best time to do this is during the weekend, when you have more free time. Sit down, time yourself and start doing your homework (don't hurry, but don't do it too slowly either). If you find yourself taking too much time on one homework assignment, take a break from it and go back to it with a fresh head.

2. Divide up your homework time into three unequal parts (you will decide how much time you need for each part later): Homework, additional homework, and last minute homework (this part isn't necessary, and in next steps you will learn if you want to include it in your homework time or not).

3. Take a break when you get home from school. Your break-time depends on how much time you spent on doing homework when you timed yourself. (If your homework takes less than or equal to 2 hours, you can take a 2 hour break. If it took you more than 2 hours to do your homework, you can take a 1 hour break).

4. Start with the hardest work. Try to do as much as you can, because once you're done with that, you only have easy work to do. If you get bored/lose focus, take a quick break (wash your face, drink some water, listen to music, etc.). Your break should be about half an hour. Make sure that you have at least finished at least half of your homework before taking your break. Do the next section of your homework.

5. Take another break. The time of this break also depends on how much time you have when you timed yourself. After the break, do whatever's left. Since you have finished all the hard work, doing the rest should be easy.

6. Find out if you can "afford" to do last-minute homework. Since you've already done most of the work, last minute homework should take you about 5 to 30 minutes long. Make sure that before the next school day, you have all of your work done. This will give you more time in the morning to eat, shower, and relax before school.

7. Put procrastination in your schedule. Be realistic. If you know a five question assignment is going to take about an hour, put it in your schedule. This way, you're never behind your schedule. But be reasonable. Don't overdo it.
